Retired Houston Police Detective Michael Ybanez is the Company Owner and Lead Investigator for Y2 Investigations and Services. Mr. Ybanez Honorably retired from the Houston Police Department after thirty-one (31) years of service to the citizens of Houston Texas where he served in several of the elite investigative divisions to include Homicide and Major Offenders Divisions.Mr. Ybanez incorporated Y2 Investigations as a entity for individuals and companies to obtain high quality investigative actions pertaining to and suited to their individual and company needs. Y2 Investigations partners with a number of other companies and trained Investigators to be able to handle most types of investigations in a deliberate, honest, and efficient manner providing both urgency and privacy as needed.

Mr. Medlin is trained in surveillance and counter surveillance and consistently in training from highly experienced professionals in Law Enforcement and military in the undercover world for private investigations to better serve you. In addition, Mr. Medlin is a Personal Protection Officer and can contract his services in that capacity if your company needs assistance on a protection detail.  Finally, he is a contract investigator retained by the Department of Defense for background investigations on personnel and other matters of interest. Negotiation skills, advanced conflict management, strong public relations skills, attention to detail, situational awareness, discernment, knowing how to ‘read the room’, be the ‘gray man’ if necessary,  communicate efficiently with all types of people and over 12 years of investigations and court experience are some of the qualities he possesses to help guide him in this line of work.

Former Detective Mauro Cisneros is an experienced investigator with a distinguished 31-year career with the Houston Police Department. Throughout his tenure, he honed his skills and expertise in various specialized units to include Major Offenders-Career Criminals Squad and Environmental Investigations Unit.  Mr. Cisneros has a wealth of knowledge in diverse areas of investigations encompassing a wide range of complex cases, including major fraud investigations, murder-for-hire investigations, undercover operations, insurance fraud probes, and major theft and robbery investigations. He is adept in unravelling the web of organized crime and is well-versed in conducting thorough background investigations and providing expert court testimony. With an aptitude for fixed and rolling surveillance, Mr. Cisneros has mastered the art of discreetly gathering crucial evidence needed for successful prosecution. Mr. Cisneros’ fluency in Spanish has proven to be an invaluable asset during his interactions with clients and citizenry His ability to communicate effectively and build allows trust across cultural and linguistic barriers.
